Toledo Sister Cities celebrated International Sister Cities World Photography Day on August 19, 2026.

Developing relationships across the globe is the heart of Toledo Sister Cities. TSCI was created on August 1, 1992, and was the very first to establish a sister city partnership in the world. The partnership with Toledo, Spain, created in 1931, inspired President Dwight D. Eisenhower to establish the sister-city movement in 1956.

World Photography Day may be recognized on August 19, 2026, but you can still capture cultural moments at the Toledo Sister Cities International Festival.
